Amigurumi Frankenstein’s Monster Crochet Pattern

Español Français

Frankenstein’s monster was never very enthusiastic about the fact that his creator Viktor Frankenstein never gave him a real name, which is why he one day simply gave himself one and now always introduces himself as Franky.

Even though Franky may look a bit unusual, with the nails in his neck and his somewhat unhealthy green skin color, behind this facade is a sensitive, romantic guy who in the end is just looking for a partner with whom he can spend eternity comfortably in a small cottage in the countryside.

However, if you are currently not looking for eternity, then you can first crochet this little wool Franky.

Frankenstein’s monster is crocheted with chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches and half double crochet stitches in spiral rounds and rows and is easy to crochet.

The depicted amigurumi Frankenstein’s monster has been crocheted with the “Schachenmayr Catania” yarn with a 2.5 mm crochet hook and has sitting a height of 5.5 cm.

Assembling

Legs: After you’ve finished crocheting all pieces, start sewing the legs onto the body. Start sewing the first leg onto the body directly over the edge that was created by the round that was crocheted only into the back loop. Sew on the second leg 4 to 5 stitches left or right from the first leg, again just over the edge.

Jacket: Wrap the side of the jacket with the 15 stitches around the neck and with the opening to the front around the body and sew the jacket to the body with an Anthracite colored thread.

Arms: Then sew the arms left and right onto the jacket. Do not sew the arms directly over the legs but slightly behind the legs.

Eyes: Attach the safety eyes after the 6th stitch row, counting from the stitch edge. The eyes are 4 stitches apart from each other. Back to the crochet pattern.

Hair: Sew the hair onto the top of the head, as shown in the pictures.

Nose: Embroider the nose with a Greenery thread. Embroider the nose centered under the eyes. To do this, pull the thread horizontally several times from one stitch through the next, skipping one stitch. Repeat until a thick nose forms.

Ears: Sew the ears 4 stitches right and left from the eyes onto the head, so that the upper part of the ear is on the same height as the eyes.

Eyebrow: Attach the eyebrow directly above the eyes. It should start at the outside of the left eye and reach to the outside of the right eye, as shown in the pictures.

Screws: Take a Smoke Gray colored thread and form a circle with it. Wrap one end of the thread 5 times around the circle and then slowly pull it together. Create a total of 2 screws.

The screws are attached to the head 2 to 3 stitch rows under the ears.
