Amigurumi Good Witches Crochet Pattern

Español Français

Unfortunately the prejudice that all witches must be evil still exists, but is of course nonsense. There are good witches as well as bad witches, mostly to recognize by the fact that they can practice witchcraft and are not marked by a horrible green skin color.

The biggest common ground is that both, bad and good witches use a broom as their preferred means of transport, which is probably why the opinion arises that all broom-flying people must be bad witches.

These crochet witches are crocheted with chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches and double crochet stitches in spiral rounds and is easy to crochet.

The depicted amigurumi witches have been crocheted with the “Schachenmayr Catania” yarn with a 2.5 mm crochet hook and have a height of 6 cm.

Eyes: Attach the safety eyes after the 7th stitch row counting from the top center of the head. The eyes are 4 stitches apart from each other. Back to the crochet pattern.

Nose: Embroider the nose with a Soft Apricot colored thread. Embroider the nose centered under the eyes. To do this, pull the thread horizontally several times from one stitch through the next, skipping one stitch. Repeat until a thick nose forms.

Eyebrows: Embroider the eyebrows with a Hyacinth (for the purple witch) or a Cherry (for the red witch) colored thread diagonal above the eyes, as shown in the picture.

Hat: Place the hat on the head with the short hair to the front and sew it to the head.

Broom Bristles: For the broom bristles wrap a Sun-Kissed colored thread 20 times around 2 fingers and cut it off.

Cut the threads on two opposite sides open and place the resulting individual threads around the broomstick. Then knot the threads with a Coffee colored thread to the broomstick as shown in the pictures.

Finally, cut the bristles to one length. Cut the upper bristles much shorter than the lower ones.

Broom: Sew the broom with a Soft Apricot colored thread to the right or left hand of the witch.
