The profession of wizard, sorcerer or wizard, despite its many famous representatives such as Dumbledore, Gandalf and Merlin, has fallen into oblivion and is nowadays rather looked down upon. This is despite the unique skills one learns during training, such as turning people into donkeys and donkeys into people.
The lack of interest certainly has something to do with the black sheeps of the profession, like Voldemort, Saruman or Sauron. For these usually tried to bring in the end of the world rather than perform a fun party trick.
For this reason, the profession of mastering elemental forces is probably not as often suggested anymore to new generations as a potential career option.
However, if you want to have a reminder of this dying profession of the magician, just crochet yourself a small representative of the guild.
The crochet mage and wizard are crocheted with chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches and double crochet stitches in spiral rounds and in rows and is easy to crochet.
The depicted amigurumi wizards has been crocheted with the “Schachenmayr Catania” yarn with a 2.5 mm crochet hook and has sitting a height of 5.5 cm.
